For $150, once, we check whether your email reaches the inbox, whether your enquiry form works and is protected, and whether your ad tracking records anything. You get the findings in writing, and they are yours whether or not you ever do anything else with us.
Does your email reach the inbox?
We read your SPF and DMARC records from your live DNS. Without them, anyone can send mail that looks like it came from your address, and your own quotes and replies are more likely to be filtered into spam.
- What is signing your mail and what is not, and whether the records that tell other mail servers to trust you are there at all.
- Whether someone else could send as you, which is the gap fake invoice scams rely on.
Does your enquiry form work, and is it protected?
We post a deliberately invalid submission and check that it is refused. A form with no working bot protection either fills your inbox with junk or hides real enquiries inside it, and from the front it looks exactly like a form that works.
- Whether the form is protected at all, or only looks protected.
- Whether it can be sent, because a silently broken form is the most expensive fault a small business site can have: the enquiries simply stop and nothing tells you.
Does your tracking record anything?
Checked against the live page rather than the tag manager. A tracking id that looks installed and fires nothing is the common case, and plenty of sites have no analytics of any kind.
- If you pay for Google Ads, whether the conversion tag records an enquiry, so you can tell which clicks turned into jobs and what a job is costing you.
- If you do not, whether you can tell which work came from Google and which came from word of mouth.
A written list, and it is yours
- Every finding with the evidence behind it and what it would take to fix.
- Some of it you can hand straight to whoever built your site, and we say so when that is the cheaper answer.
- Fixes are quoted separately, and none of them is a condition of the audit.
- If all three are already in order, we tell you that and there is nothing to sell you. It happens, and it is a perfectly good outcome for $150.
Who we are
Watchroute is a small internet marketing agency in Queensland, run by Andrew. We run Google Ads, local search and email for Australian businesses, and we build websites when the site itself is the problem. Watchroute is a trading name of Austera Global Pty Ltd, ABN 41 700 870 275.
We are a young agency and we will not pretend otherwise. The sites we have built are live and linked on the about page, and every price we charge is on the pricing page.
